HOSTEL

      Bethel hostels have spacious dormitories with single and double cots.They are fully furnished with matresses, pillow and bedspreads. Dormitories have separate provisions for keeping thepersonal belongings of the hostelers.Well lit and airy study halls accomodate boys and girls for morning and night study. Sub-wardens not only supervise them but also offer valuable guidance and counselling for theri improvment in studies and behaviour.

     Boarders are served unlimited, hygenic and balanced food.Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is made availiable.Menus are ofen revisedin consultation with student council. Health of inimates is our prime concern. Sickness is imediately attended to by our visiting medical officers and consulting physicians. Special diet is provided. They are isolated to avoid infection to others . Parents are informed whenever necessary.

     School library is kept open on all hilidays and sundays to facilitate hostel children to use them during specific time.Recreation is possible through indoor games like chess, carroms etc., Kung-fu, yoga and music are taught through the visiting experts in these fields.Hostel students are taken out for picnics and field trips at least once in a term. They assemble on all first saturdays at 8-00 p.m for a get-together and entertainment to exhibit their talents.

     Sufficent water is made available for bathing and other uses. Children are provided with boiled water for drinking purpose. Laundry services are available on payment.Week-end tests are conducted in all subjects for the slow learners with the help of sub-wardens. Poor performancces in these tests are viewed seriously and steps are taken for improvement.The progress reports of the school and hostel tests' performance and behaviour of the students are intimated to the parents. Parents are expected to appropiate them.
